What does the message, ‘Posting Date is not within your range of allowed posting dates.’ Mean in Dynamics 365 Business Central?

The system wide Posting Dates allowed are set in the General Ledger Setup fields, ‘Allow Posting From’ and ‘Allow Posting To’. If you need to post a journal entry outside of that date range, you can enter an override date for your User ID in the User Setup page. This message indicates your Posting Date is outside of these dates.
